For the purpose of this website and of this document, "BASIN PTY LTD trading under "Fischerequip.com.au" and "Fischer Professional Food Equipment" shall be known as the “supplier” and the “customer” shall be the person or persons placing the order.
All of our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST (Goods and services tax) as of 07th September 2016. Product prices are regularly updated when price changes are received from our suppliers. If you find a cheaper advertised price somewhere else, email or phone us with the details of the supplier together with prices of the product required and we will endeavor to provide you with a more competitive price.
Our policy is one of continuous improvement, we reserve the right to change specifications to our products or services without notice.
The property in the goods shall remain with Fischerequip.com.au until such a time as the invoice and any other invoices to be paid by the customer are paid in full, but the risk in the goods passes to the customer on delivery.
All prices given on our website and literature are given in good faith and are in Australian Dollars. We reserve the right to refuse any order at our absolute discretion.
We do not supply any goods on a trial basis, the customer should always satisfy themselves as to the suitability of a product for their requirements before ordering.

Our return policies apply to goods unused and as new, in their original, unopened packaging (external & internal) and with all instruction manuals.
Special order and refrigerated goods may not be returned unless found to be damaged or faulty upon delivery.
Under the Queensland Fair Trading Legislation you have the right to return your goods, provided you do so within 7 working days from the day after you received and signed for the good under the following conditions. You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit where goods are faulty, wrongly described, different from a sample shown to you or don’t do what they are supposed to do. Please choose carefully. If you wish to cancel an order after it has been dispatched you may have to pay round trip delivery costs. Goods must not be returned to us without our authorization, you must obtain a returns number.
We do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong selection. You may however within 30 calendar days of receiving your order return the goods to us at your own cost, provided they are un-damaged, un-used and in their original packaging with all instruction manuals included. This is only applicable to stock items and does not include special orders. A proof of purchase is essential.
Goods may only be returned to FISCHER Professional Food Equipment with prior consent when you exchange your goods for one worth the same or higher value. If goods are not a special order there will be certainly NO Restocking fee! Again, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. The customer must arrange insurance with the carrier or Post Office when returning goods to cover possible damage or loss in transit for the full value of the item. If goods are out of stock you will be contacted within 2 business days and either a delayed shipping time or substitute product (to your satisfaction) will be organized.
If we have to replace any lost manuals or packaging, the cost of this would also become payable by you the customer.
You will be refunded or credited within 5 - 7 business days of receipt of merchandise for goods returned under the above terms.
Where applicable carriage or postal charges are not refunded in the event of a customer returning goods under the 30 day return policies.
All goods must be examined upon delivery for obvious signs of damage and a note must be made on the driver’s paperwork/electronic pad. If this is not possible you must add the words “damaged” to your signature. The customer must inform Fischerequip.com.au within 24 hours of receipt of any damage or shortage to their order.
A signature is required upon delivery for all goods.
You have the right to refuse delivery of a damaged item, please inform us immediately by telephone or email.
Carriers will make delivery kerbsite (or site) but not locations within. Deliveries to addresses with a central receiving area will be delivered to that area. Goods are delivered to the receivers address but not necessarily to the named contact.
Should you fail to take delivery at the appointed address and time, goods may be returned to our warehouse or supplier. The costs incurred where goods are returned in relation to failed delivery attempts shall be passed on to you, the customer.
Claims for non delivery of goods must be made to us in writing within 7 days of the invoice date.
You must make sure that you have adequate provision and personnel to receive goods once off-loaded from the vehicle as the driver is under no further obligation from that point. Large items may require a forklift/tail-lift/crane truck to unload at the final destination. This is not included in price quoted and is additional at buyer’s expense. Please consider your ability to receive items before purchasing.
You must make sure that you have checked all dimensions thoroughly and have adequate access for the goods being delivered, particularly large and bulky items.
Fischerequip.com.au reserves the right to charge for failed deliveries. Deliveries required at specific times during the day will be charged extra.
All care is taken but it is not the responsibility of Fischer Professional Food Equipment as we are not common carriers.

Installation is not included unless agreed in writing.
The customer agrees to indemnify Fischerequip.com.au against claims for defects caused to equipment by faulty or inadequate installation.
All gas appliances must be installed by a gasfitter for which they are qualified and who holds the required license as required by law and a certificate of installation should be made available to the supplier on request.
All electrical equipment must be installed by a suitably qualified & licensed tradesperson as required by law and a certificate of installation should be made available to the supplier on requests.
Any equipment which is required to be connected to the mains water supply should be installed by a suitably qualified & licensed tradesperson as required by law and a certificate of installation must be made available on request.
Water softeners must be installed according to the manufacturer’s recommendation. The products guarantee will be void if lime scale is the cause of breakdown.
Should any of the conditions herein be in conflict with those of the buyer, these conditions shall prevail. These conditions and any contract entered into shall be subject to and construed in accordance with Australian law
If the customer is dealing in the capacity of a consumer then these terms and conditions shall not affect their statutory rights
The price of goods for export/ overseas orders does not include transportation costs or import or export duty or documentation charges of any kind. The payment of which is the responsibility of the recipient of the goods
Leasing is subject to approval and is the responsibility of the customer.
Age restricted goods are not for sale to persons under the age of 18. By placing an order for knives you are indicating that you are over 18 years of age or over.
Prices are correct at the time of going to press.
We take great care to ensure that all images are a true representation of our products but due to most images are displayed for illustration purposes and are an example only, we take no responsibility for changes in manufacturers deviations. Color and finish may vary due to computer monitor configuration.
Some items may not be in stock at the time of placing order. We will contact the purchaser within 48 hours to confirm delivery time and stock availability. Waiting times for goods can vary from 1-2 days and up until 4-8 weeks in some cases.
Insurance for goods in transit is not included in the purchase price. If insurance is required please notify Fischer immediately as a quotation will need to be arranged before shipping.
We will, if required, make improvements or changes in the information, services, products, prices, policy's, terms & conditions and other materials on the website, or terminate this site, at any time without notice. Fischer Equip may modify this agreement at any time without prior notice and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified agreement.
